This is a calm oasis of luxury with over 130 elegant outlet boutiques, charmingly modelled on the human scale of the surrounding villages, where shoppers can browse and buy from a bevy of exemplary British brands: Anya Hindmarch, Agent Provocateur, Mulberry, Paul Smith, Pringle of Scotland, cheap toms, all with yearround reductions of up to 60% on the recommended retail price off past seasons collections. At Bicester Village shoppers are greeted with five star services, ray ban outlet, which include the Shopping Express coach service, cheap michael kors purses, taking shoppers from central London to the Village in comfort; valet parking; an award winning Tourist Information Centre complete with multilingual welcome hostesses, Shop Drop, a collection service turning shopping into a 'hands free' experience, and a children's play area, keeping youngsters entertained. A menu of restaurants and cafs here includes, French cuisine from Villandry; authentic Italian cooking from Carluccio's; Thai salads, noodles, curries and stirfries from the new culinary import from London Busaba Eathai and coffee shops Pret A Manger and Starbucks. My son got some slim fit Paul Smith jeans for 39 reduced from 120. Many shops are true high end so prices can still be scary expensive even when discounted but there are still plenty of reasonably priced shops. Because of the ever changing stock, cheap toms shoes, visits can vary from being 'buy tones at great prices' to a frustrating waste of time, but that's outlets for you. Don't judge on your first visit if it's poor, give the place a second chance. My biggest biggest tip GO EARLY!, by that I mean turn up 45 minutes before opening, have a cup of coffee at Starbucks, consult the store map and plan your first hour. Be ready at your first shop as it opens and you'll have a pleasant hour or so before it gets manic. Much better mid week but still heaving by midday.Usually a normal highstreet shopper but I also like to occasionally treat myself to designers. The village itself was stunning and as the sun was shining we definitely felt abroad. There a few shops like Jack Wills and Cath Kidston that were definitely worth while and fell within a nice price range. Food was very upper class I had a sandwich, 2 waters and a sausage roll which cost 13 not overly expensive but not cheap! Jamie Oliver has a deli there and there are some very nice restraints! Even though I haven't got children, I would imagine there's not much for them if you did have them. Definite worth while even just for the experience!Last time i went, we had to leave quickly because of the random snowfall in march! So we braved it a second time on sunday and it was so busy! full of arabs and orientals with huge designer bags full of discounted goodies. To be honest, the prices aren't that much better. Chances are if you can afford the discounted designer wear on offer there,mycountrymart.com/tory-burch, you can afford it full price as well. good for a visti but dont expect major bargains. Tip: Ralph Lauren children does get long lines, but i did see someone filling out a bag/locker thing in there, so if u grab bargains u dont have to walk around with them! might be in every store? It was well worth the trip from Manchester, it is much better for big brands than Cheshire Oaks. The shop attendants were very polite and helpful and the atmosphere was lovely. I purchased 2 Gucci bags for just over 500 pounds! Which was the best buy of the day. Some stores were heavily discounted such as Gucci, Ralph Lauren and Juicy Couture but Clarks and UGG were quite dissapointing as there was little discount given. half a ham and cheese baguette for 3.80 pounds!Overall it was a very good trip and I will be returning soon!
